AMSwitch partners are collaborating on the organisation of the International School on Altermagnets, taking place 14–18 December 2026 at AMSwitch partner ALBA Synchrotron, in Barcelona, Spain. AMSwitch PIs from Chalmers (Prof. Saroj Dash) and IFW (Prof. Jeroen van den Brink and Dr. Oleg Janson) are invited as speakers, and on the final day of the school, AMSwitch will organise a targeted “Altermagnetic Spintronics” workshop.

Early career and experience researchers are invited to explore altermagnetic materials—from symmetry and fundamental physics to hands-on simulations, advanced spectroscopy, and perspectives on spintronic devices.
